Depth interviews are generally a face-to-face (one -one) interviews and these are typically done when dealing with sensitive or esoteric topic study. Basically the researcher interviews the respondent based on the questionnaires prepared and finds out his opinion, ideas, suggestions and mostly what he thinks.
